When you submit a report about poor-quality AdBlue®, the process begins with an evaluation of the provided information. BAMIA works closely with regulatory authorities to determine whether the product meets the required standards.
What Happens Next?
1. Receiving and Analyzing the Report
Once we receive your report, we review the submitted details—such as the sales location, suspected violations, and any supporting evidence (photos, receipts, etc.).
2. Cooperation with Regulatory Authorities
BAMIA forwards the information to the relevant control institutions, including the Ministry of Environment and Water and the Bulgarian Institute of Metrology.
3. Conducting Inspections
Regulatory authorities take samples of the suspicious product and analyze them in laboratories. If discrepancies with legal standards are found, appropriate actions are taken.
4. Penalties for Violations
If a retailer sells substandard AdBlue®, they may face penalties, and in cases of serious violations, the product may be banned from sale.
5. Informing Consumers
The association publishes information about identified risks and provides advice on recognizing poor-quality products.
